About the Role
MEQ is seeking an Account Manager to lead client relationship management, retention, and strategic account growth in the U.S. This newly created role is remote, with regular travel required to engage with key stakeholders.

As a key client liaison, you will focus on managing and expanding existing customer relationships, ensuring clients maximize the value of MEQ’s innovative solutions. You will work closely with customers to provide technical guidance, training, and support, ensuring a seamless experience while identifying opportunities for product adoption and service expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, providing ongoing support and technical guidance.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and account reviews to optimize product use and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Educate and train clients on product features, updates, and best practices to enhance their experience.

Account Growth & Strategy

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding product adoption within existing accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and product teams to tailor solutions that align with client needs.
  • Analyze customer usage data and feedback to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Represent MEQ at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to strengthen client engagement.

Industry Engagement & Market Positioning

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the red meat industry.
  • Engage with USDA (United States Department of Agriculture), NCBA (National Cattlemen’s Beef Association), and NAMI (North American Meat Institute) to build credibility and market presence.
  • Attend and participate in industry-related functions, ensuring MEQ is recognized as an industry leader.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, preferably in AgTech, food production, or agriculture-related industries.
  • Strong ability to build relationships, provide solutions, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze customer data and market trends to drive strategic recommendations.
  • High-level proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) for tracking client interactions and account growth.
  • Passion for the red meat industry and a keen interest in data-driven innovation.

Preferred:

  • Experience working within the red meat industry and familiarity with USDA regulations.
  • Strong understanding of technical solutions and product adoption strategies.
