The People Plugin is proud to be partnering with Crop Shop Boutique (CSB), a high-growth Australian e-commerce brand redefining athleisure, to recruit a talented Head of Social / Content.

About the Role

Reporting into the Brand function, the Head of Social / Content will lead CSB’s content and social strategy, shaping how the brand shows up, connects and grows across digital and owned channels. This role is responsible for building a content ecosystem that is culturally relevant, commercially aligned and unmistakably CSB. You will own the strategy, planning, standards and operational rhythm behind how content is created, distributed and translated across the business. This is not just a creative role. It is a strategic and highly operational leadership role that requires strong brand taste, commercial thinking and the ability to create structure around a fast-moving creative team without slowing momentum. The successful candidate will act as the guardian of CSB’s content standard, ensuring every channel, campaign and touchpoint feels aligned, elevated and consistent.

Key Focus Areas

Strategy & Direction

  • Own CSB’s social and content strategy across all key channels, defining how the brand shows up culturally and digitally.
  • Build content plans around launches, campaigns, partnerships and key brand moments, ensuring content supports commercial goals.

Cross-Channel Brand Alignment

  • Ensure social, CRM, paid, website, PR, partnerships and affiliate content feel cohesive and on-brand.
  • Maintain consistency across messaging, visuals, tone of voice and asset usage across every customer touchpoint.

Social & Community Growth

  • Lead organic social across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest and emerging channels.
  • Drive follower growth, engagement, reach and deeper community connection through culturally relevant storytelling.

Content Creation & Creative Direction

  • Lead content planning across campaign, evergreen, reactive and community-led content.
  • Oversee briefs, shoot concepts, talent, creators and production workflows while upholding CSB’s creative standard.

Content Operations & Systems

  • Build clear content calendars, workflows, approvals, asset management and reporting processes.
  • Create structure around the creative team to improve efficiency, consistency and quality of output.

Creator & Partnership Oversight

  • Oversee creator, ambassador and partner content to ensure it feels on-brand and commercially useful.
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose and scale high-performing creator and campaign content across channels.

Performance & Commercial Thinking

  • Use data and insights to understand what content drives engagement, conversion and revenue.
  • Work closely with eCommerce and Performance teams to align content with commercial goals.

Team Leadership & Capability

  • Lead and develop the social and content team, setting clear standards, workflows and expectations.
  • Foster creativity, accountability and continuous improvement without micromanaging the team.

About You

You are a social-first content leader with excellent brand taste, strong operational discipline and a clear understanding of how content drives both community and commercial outcomes.

You know how to build structure around creative teams without suffocating creativity. You can uphold a high brand standard, guide creative output, and ensure content translates consistently across every part of the business.

You bring:

  • Significant experience leading social, content or brand storytelling within fashion, lifestyle, beauty, activewear or consumer brands
  • Strong understanding of social-first content strategy, platform dynamics and culturally relevant storytelling
  • Excellent creative judgement and a clear eye for brand standard, visual identity and tone of voice
  • Proven ability to create alignment across social, CRM, paid, website, partnerships, PR, affiliates and broader brand channels
  • Strong content operations experience across calendars, workflows, approvals, asset management and shoot planning
  • Experience managing creatives, social leads, editors, freelancers, creators or agencies
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to understand what content is driving growth, conversion and brand equity
  • Confidence working closely with performance, eCommerce, product and brand teams
  • A structured, collaborative and adaptable approach in fast-paced environments
