Job Description
We’re excited to be partnering with Crop Shop Boutique (CSB) to find their next People & Culture Business Partner – someone who thrives in a high-growth, high-performance environment and is ready to make an immediate impact.
Since launching in 2019, CSB has grown into a globally recognised e-commerce brand redefining athleisure. Founded by entrepreneur and fitness leader Rachel Dillon, the brand blends performance, fashion and confidence – empowering women to feel bold, strong and unapologetically themselves.
As they continue to scale, CSB is looking for a capable and proactive HR professional who’s passionate about culture and understands how to embed best-practice people operations in a fast-moving business. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a sharp and values-driven People & Culture Manager, while partnering with leaders across the organisation to drive excellence at every stage of the employee lifecycle.
About the Role
The People & Culture Business Partner will be both a trusted advisor and a hands-on support to CSB's managers and teams. You’ll take ownership of operational delivery across core people processes – including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, engagement, compliance, and offboarding.
You’ll play a vital role in executing CSB’s people strategy day-to-day, helping bring to life the frameworks and initiatives led by the P&C Manager. The role requires someone who’s detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and excited by the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with employees at all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle Management – Recruitment and Onboarding
- Represent CSB as an employer of choice, contributing to the visibility and positioning of the employer brand.
- Lead and support recruitment processes: drafting job ads, sourcing candidates, screening, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates to ensure a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with the P&C Manager and any external agencies to align on process and ensure candidate quality.
- Support hiring managers through onboarding planning, probation tracking and documentation.
- Coordinate all onboarding touchpoints – including contract generation, system setup, induction and process completion.
Employee Lifecycle Management – Performance, Engagement & Workplace Relations
- Support the execution of engagement surveys and pulse checks; assist with analysing data and organising follow-up actions.
- Help coordinate logistics for team events, training, wellness initiatives, and culture-building activities.
- Drive consistent and aligned internal communications across the business.
- Maintain regular check-ins with team members and be a visible support presence.
- Manage HR systems (Employment Hero), ensuring all employee data and documentation is accurate and compliant.
- Support WHS and legal compliance.
Policy & Process Execution
- Assist in biannual performance and remuneration reviews – from communications through to documentation and reporting.
- Guide and support managers on delivering effective feedback and development discussions.
- Draft employment documentation and assist with the development and implementation of key people policies.
- Support capability-building activities, including systems training and onboarding materials.
Offboarding & Transitions
- Coordinate exit processes – including documentation, systems access, and knowledge transfer.
- Conduct exit interviews and contribute insights back to the business to support retention and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management
- Build strong, trusted relationships across the business and act as a go-to advisor for people-related queries.
- Partner with managers to understand team dynamics, performance challenges, and upcoming workforce needs.
- Support change initiatives by preparing people for transitions and ensuring alignment across teams.
Education & Technical Requirements
- Essential: 4+ years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management (or higher).

- Preferred: Familiarity with platforms such as G Suite, Employment Hero, and Apple OS.
